This vintage Barbancourt 3 Star rum dates from the 1960s, imported by Baretto Import.
Produced from pure sugarcane juice, it was distilled in column stills and aged under tropical conditions. The rum is presented at 86 proof (approximately 43%). As per historical benchmarks for the 3 Star expression, it is believed to have undergone 4 years ageing in Limousin oak casks.
From reference data on the 3 Star line, the typical bottling size is 75 cl (or in the range of standard full-size bottles of that era).
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
