This pure sugarcane juice rum was distilled in September 2014 and barrelled in French oak casks after two weeks. Aged for 4 years in Tropics and bottled in February 2019, this is part of the Indian Ocean Stills series.
THE BRAND
Chamarel distillery, founded in 2008 on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, is one of the rare active distilleries still to cultivate its own sugarcane.Thanks to the complexity of their devices, produces both a white rum on a Barbet type plate column, as well as a double distilled rum, with a very uncommon distillation technique that makes it a unique product.
