This iconic Pure Demerara Rum was distilled in 1971 in Guyana and matured for 32 years before being bottled in 2003 by the renowned Italian independent bottler Silver Seal Whisky Company.
Released as part of the celebrated “Wildlife Series”, this edition represents one of the earliest and most iconic rum bottlings by Silver Seal. The series is known for its refined aesthetic, featuring detailed illustrations of exotic wildlife and for the exceptional quality of the selected casks.
Produced from molasses and bottled at its natural strength of 71.8% ABV, this limited release comprised only 232 bottles, reflecting the rarity and exclusivity that characterise Silver Seal’s early rum portfolio.
