Distilled in 1991 in British Guyana and aged for 14 years, this was bottled in November 2005. It is not stated from which distillery or in which pot still this rum was distlled.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Rino Mainardi in 2000, also owner of Sestante, well-known Italian indie bottler, who bottled his first whisky in 1985 and many others become legendary over the years. Max Righi, owner of whisky antique and one of the leading italian experts in the industry, bought both companies in 2010 and since then, also many outstanding rums were bottled.
